What a group night looks like

Most groups book the Show & Meal Deal at $74 per person. You arrive by 7pm, eat at The Lost Dice, work your way through part of the 650-game library, then go up for the show at 8pm. The show runs about an hour, and the bar stays open afterwards, which is usually where the arguing starts.

Work nights out

A better option than another set of drinks. It gives people something to talk about who would otherwise not talk at all, and it is over by nine.

Birthdays

Particularly good for people who claim not to be scared of anything. Bring them along and find out.

Hens and bucks nights

Something with a bit more atmosphere than the usual circuit, right in the CBD and easy to move on from afterwards.

Private events

Your own séance, on a night that suits you, for your own guests. Get in touch and we will work out the details.

Private and corporate bookings

If you want the room to yourselves, or a performance on a night other than Thursday, that can usually be arranged. Kevin has performed at festivals and private events internationally for more than thirty years, and the show travels. Tell us the date, the rough numbers and the kind of evening you are after, and we will come back with options.

Before you book for a group: HAUNTED is best suited to adults and mature audiences. It relies on suspense and atmosphere rather than gore, but it is genuinely eerie, and it is not designed for children. If you are unsure whether it suits your group, ask us.

Common questions about groups

How many people counts as a group?
Four or more. From the fourth ticket the price drops to $32 per person, down from the $39 general admission price.
Can we get the group rate and the meal deal together?
The Show & Meal Deal is a fixed $74 per person and already includes the ticket, a burger or pizza, a drink and the board games. It is a separate package rather than a discount applied on top of the group rate, so pick whichever suits your night better. For most groups the meal deal is the better value because it covers the whole evening.
Can you do a night other than Thursday?
For a private booking, usually yes. The public season runs every Thursday at The Lost Dice, but private events can be arranged on other nights depending on availability. Send an enquiry with your preferred dates.
Can we sit together?
Seating is limited and the room is deliberately intimate, so groups are generally seated together. If you are booking separately rather than in one transaction, mention it in your enquiry so we can keep you in the same part of the room.
Is it suitable for a work group with mixed tastes?
Generally yes. There is no gore and nothing physically jumps at anyone. The discomfort is atmospheric rather than shocking, and there is a strong dose of storytelling and history alongside the magic. People who do not normally like horror tend to enjoy it.
